Depending on where you intend to place your outdoor light, you will need to ensure that it complies with the provisions of the IEC 70-1 (EN 60529) standard with an appropriate IP protection rating.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The IP value stands for International Protection and consists of two digits.<\/strong>: the first indicates the protection index against solids (e.g. dust), the second against liquids (e.g. water).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

IP44 protection rating<\/strong>\u00a0is the minimum rating for a luminaire used outdoors and potentially exposed to moisture and splashing water.
